LYMPHATIC and VENOUS disorders can be managed by a variety of therapy modalities. In all cases, the therapy involves applying some form of compression to the affected extremity or affected lymph/venous system. This kind of therapy modality is generally referred to as compression therapy.

 LYMPHAPRESS SYSTEM
The Lympha Press, manufactured by Mego-Afek™, is a pneumatic compression system that has achieved internal recognition. Sports organizations and physicians specializing in sports medicine have found that the LymphaPress can improve athletic performance by reducing inflammation and maintaining greater mobility. Its main component is a multi-chamber sleeve that fits onto the affected limb.
The compartments are sequentially inflated, creating a massage effect on tissues, muscles and vascular systems in a proximal direction. The short (30 sec.) cycle allows application of pressure high than that available from other pneumatic devices.
